Sometimes, the biggest obstacles to farm success are created by our own decisions. Labour is not merely an expense; it is an investment in productivity. Think wisely.
Farm work is physically demanding, requiring commitment, discipline, patience, and courage. Expecting quality performance while offering poor wages creates frustration and weakens motivation every day. Value commitment.
Some workers may never intend to steal or neglect responsibilities. However, persistent maltreatment, delayed payments, or unfair wages can create resentment and unhealthy attitudes sometimes. Treat people fairly.
In today’s Nigerian economy, commercial farms should budget realistically for labour. Paying workers fairly, according to responsibilities and prevailing conditions, supports loyalty and productivity today. Pay fairly.
Farm owners who demand better policies from government must also examine their own practices. Employment should create mutual value, not become an opportunity for exploitation. Lead responsibly.
Change your mindset, invest wisely in people, and keep improving yourself. Opportunities often arrive unexpectedly, and preparation determines whether you are ready to embrace them. Keep adding value.
